Warehouse Cinemas is located on the Golden Mile in Frederick, on Route 40, west of downtown. The obscurity of the location is the first thing you’ll notice as it’s tucked away behind a Home Depot.

Checking Showtimes at Warehouse Cinemas
You can check Warehouse Cinemas Showtimes on their website. Make sure you are looking at Warehouse Cinemas Frederick, as there are locations in Leitersburg (Hagerstown) and Rotunda (Baltimore) as well.
However, their mobile app is the easiest way to check showtimes at Warehouse Cinemas and buy tickets.
Warehouse Cinemas will post movie showtimes up to 1 month in advance. But I’ve noticed that most of the actual showtimes aren’t posted (and thus, you can’t buy tickets) until a few days before the show date.
There are 10 theatres at the facility, and there are usually 10 films being screened.
Purchasing Tickets (Buy in Advance!)
The showtimes page on their website is the same page for buying tickets online for Warehouse Cinemas. But you can also easily do this on the mobile app.
Purchasing tickets in advance online at either place will result in an email sent to you with a QR code for entry. This will save you from having to buy tickets when you arrive.
Alternatively, you can buy tickets when you arrive using one of the several ticket kiosks.
However, know that Warehouse Cinemas uses an assigned seating system. You will choose your seats when you purchase your tickets (similar to when you buy an airline ticket). So the earlier you buy, the earlier you can choose your seat.
Beyond "Concessions": The Warehouse Cinemas Food and Drink Menu
One way movie theatres have elevated the in-person movie experience is by offering better food and drink. This is definitely the case at Warehouse Cinemas.
The Warehouse Cinemas Food Menu goes way beyond the typical popcorn and candy (which, of course, you can get). This includes gourmet grilled cheese, flatbreads, crispy fried chicken, and desserts like churros.
The same goes for drinks, as Warehouse Cinemas has a full bar and servers draft beers, cocktails, and wines. So get your kids soda from the fountain machine, but enjoy a draft IPA, pinot grigio, or mule while you watch the show.
The Beer Wall at Warehouse Cinemas!
Maybe the coolest thing (and certainly one of the first things I noticed) at Warehouse Cinemas is the Beer Wall. Adjacent to the bar is a self-service, payment card system of draft beers that is a long way from any movie theatre I’ve ever visit before.
This system works by purchasing a pre-paid Beer Wall card (for example, with $20). This card then allows you to activate any of the long line of beer taps and charges you by the ounce.
The beer selection is quite interesting and fun and includes many local Frederick breweries, including Rockwell Brewery and Idiom. It also has other favorites like Yuengling and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Amazingly Comfortable In-Theatre Seating
Besides the beer wall, my favorite part of watching a movie at Warehouse Cinemas is the quality of the theatre seating. As mentioned, you’ll have an assigned seat, and every seat has a modern, plush, amazingly comfortable recliner to enjoy the show.
The recliners have smooth leather, reclining controls, seat warmers, trays, and cup holders for your food and drink.
During our last visit, I wondered how to get my home seating experience to match the Warehouse Cinema theatre because it’s superb. You’ll have a hard time leaving when the movie is over.
Visual Media and Sound Quality
One thing is for sure: watching a film in a traditional movie theater definitely has a different audio/visual experience than at home. Warehouse Cinema is no different.
The screens are large, the picture quality impeccable, and the Dolby 7.1 Surround System is incredibly entertaining.
Warehouse Cinemas Kickback Rewards Program
