The Frederick Flying Cows (FFC) are a professional basketball team in the TBL (The Basketball League). They play their games in the BB&T Arena at Hood College, just a few blocks from downtown Frederick. Their inaugural season is 2024, in which they will play 24 games from March until May, including 12 home games.
Attending Flying Cows games is high energy, fun, and affordable. Read on to learn everything about tickets, the venue, parking, and how to follow the team.
Frederick Flying Cows Schedule 2024
The Frederick Flying Cows started their regular season with a thrilling 113-112 win over the Reading Rebels on March 2, 2024. For 2024, their regular season will include 12 home games and 12 away games from March through June. Playoffs will occur in June.

Frederick Flying Cows Tickets
One of the best aspects of the Flying Cows is the affordable ticket prices. General admission tickets are $15 for Adults and $10 for Children. This allows you to sit on any side of the court in the bleacher-type seating area. This can be literally the 1st row behind the team bench, and it’s never far from the action.
You can also choose baseline and bench tickets. These are assigned seats in chairs right on the floor. The baseline seats on the player’s bench side are $50, and courtside seats on the opposing side are $40. The game will be played right before you, and you’ll want to pay attention to stray balls and players!
Courtside seats also include access to the Hospitality Room on the 2nd floor (see below). Here, you can purchase alcoholic drinks and food.

VIP Seats, Suites, and Hospitality Room
The Flying Cows also offers you the opportunity to purchase:

- VIP Group Suites
The VIP Group Suites consist of four suites with a capacity for 12 people and one XL suite with a capacity for 18. These suites have tables and standing-room views of the game. They also have the same hospitality suite access privileges. VIP Suites are great for events or corporate outings.
Game Venue: BB&T Arena at Hood College
The Flying Cows play home games at the BB&T Arena (also known as the Ronald J. Volpe Athletic Center) on the Hood College campus. This convenient arena is only blocks from downtown Frederick.
The BB&T Arena is small but modern, easy to get to, and intimate (capacity = 1,600).
Parking at Frederick Flying Cows Games
Parking for Frederick Cows Games is convenient and free! Parking is available adjacent to the BB&T Arena at the Frederick Health Hospital Visitor Parking Garage. (You’ll receive an email with all these details once you buy tickets to the game.)
You will follow directions to Frederick Health Hospital and turn into the visitor garage, just to the right of the main entrance.
It’s a 5-minute walk across the street to the arena for the game (follow the signs).
The Gameday and Fan Experience at Flying Cows Games
Based on opening night, the atmosphere at Frederick Flying Cows games will be high-energy and electric.
Basketball fans will appreciate the up-and-down action on the floor. But gameday is also filled with music, mascots, crowd interactions, and food!

All About The Basketball League (TBL)
The Basketball League (TBL) is a 24-team professional basketball league formed in 2018. It’s divided into four conferences (East, Midwest, Central, and West). The FFC play in the East Conference with 11 other teams.
Players in the TBL come from various situations, but most are professionals who played in college and are looking to start their careers. The league also has many international players looking to become pros in the US and former NBA players looking to extend their careers.
The TBL also has its own television streaming service, TBLTV.
